Jason Bourne is coming home. That means: He is on his way there. In London, he meets with reporter Simon Ross, who writes stories about him in the Guardian. Bourne hopes to hear from Ross about himself, about Treadstone, about the program. They meet at Waterloo Station in London. A very busy place. The ex-agent and the reporter can exchange some information, but then Ross is shot. The CIA had shadowed Ross. And get rid of it.
Bourne now knows that Treadstone did not finish, but was merely replaced by Operation Blackbriar, who acts more or less as a Treadstone update.
